Recently, Stegosaur Investments, Inc. has received a class action lawsuit notice in the mail. The reason for this lawsuit is that Stellantis (STLA) did not disclose

the amount that was being paid by them to the National Autoworkers Union causing a misevaluation in their per-share price. Way this type of error causes them to

overstate their share price by making it look as if their liabilities are lower than they actually are, and their assets (specifically cash) be overstated as being greater than they

actually are. We have signed up in the class-action suit as a plaintiff in the class action. We await news, and when we know we will post another update to this article.

General Automotive Market Information

The automotive industry is a quickly changing, and diverse industry. The automotive industry itself is an industry made up of smaller industries whose products are used in the

industry. During the past decade, electric cars have gained quite a bit of popularity. They are not new inventions. The ability to move and store electricity has finally been to a

place where it can start to provide meaningful service for the electric car industry. There still is a shortage of electric car charging stations even with them on the rise in the

number of stations in operation.

There recently have been many leaps and bounds in self-driving car technological innovations. There have been many developments with vehicles such as

Black Beauty is a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) self-driving car. The car drove itself while the driver played the guitar. Well done.

The problem of storage capacity in the vehicle itself for electricity through batteries is limited. Battery technologies need to increase before the electric car can be a true

long-term solution to the problems of global warming. Electric cars are the fun toy of the rich, or city goes who do not normally drive more than 300 miles in a day.

The work will still be done by petroleum using engines for the near and medium-term.

The automotive industry also fits into the energy portfolio as a type of complementary industry that is highly reliant on the energy industry, and the energy industry

is highly reliant on the automotive industry in a give and take relationship. Cars use petroleum to move (primarily), and energy sells the petroleum to the car owners. Fewer

car owners means fewer people purchasing petroleum would mean lower sales for energy.
